Sun & Ice

You will need: 1 or 2 blue and yellow beanbags

The sun and the snowballs have to run and chase all the other children. If you are tagged with a blue beanbag you have to freeze (ice). You can only be released by being tagged with a yellow beanbag (the sun).

Saucers & Domes

You will need: assortment of cones

For our next game we are going to need to work as a team. 1 team will be called the saucers and their job will be to turn the cones over like a Cat's saucer bowl. The second team will be called 'the domes'. Their job will be to turn the cones back over to their correct way so they look like domes or mountains. Move around the hall and try and turn as many as you can so they look like either domes or saucers. When I blow my whistle we will all then FREEZE in our Star position and we will see which team has more domes or saucers.

Train Station

You will need: whistle

I would like you to pair up with a friend. One person is the train driver and one will be the trains carriage behind the driver. The train carriage has to follow the driver around the room. The driver should walk quickly in any direction around the area. When I blow my whistle switch roles quickly.

Okay, gradually slow the speed to a standstill.

Continue to stand one behind the other. Shadow each others’ stretching movements. Remember to breathe in and out.
